Virtual Event: DevSecOps - Canada
Your guide to faster delivery with security at the forefront
Agenda Overview:
There is a multitude of benefits to using DevSecOps: stronger collaboration and teamwork, better transparency, enhanced security, increased productivity, and, best of all, the better quality of products and deliverables.
The term “DevSecOps” continues to increase in importance with the public sector. Much of this importance is related to the need to migrate applications to cloud-based solutions. But what is DevSecOps? Why is it important? How is it impacting the public sector?
DevSecOps has been defined as an enterprise software development phrase used to mean a type of agile relationship between Development, Security, and IT Operations. The goal of DevSecOps is to change and improve the relationship by advocating better communication and collaboration between all three business units. Implementing DevSecOps in large enterprises like the Public Sector can be challenging considering departmental silos and communication and collaboration requirements. Ultimately, DevSecOps depends on changing the way you change.
Collaboration — the very core of DevSecOps — is always a good thing, and in that spirit, Public Sector Network’s DevSecOps in the Public Sector” Virtual Event will bring together all three levels of government to share practical tips on achieving a common mission: a smarter, more agile, secure and productive public sector.
