The Public Sector Network’s Achieving the Change Required to Lift Your Cyber Resilience training course will discuss how to convey business impacts of a cyber-attack and why organisation-wide change is essential to business continuity.

This training has been designed to help participants learn how to drive change by embedding effective policies and how to communicate the importance of new security requirements.

They will also discover how to convey the risk cyber threats pose to the organisation and how to make the most of the available budget for implementation

Karen Darling

Karen Darling manages and delivers work for government clients and has more than 17 years’ consulting, training and coaching experience. She is an expert at implementing policies and the required change to mitigate cyber security risk.


She is currently providing services to NSW Health and has worked with the Victorian Department of Health, VicRoads, the Bureau of Meteorology, Alfred Health, other State Government funded organisations, the Local Government Association (SA), the Municipal Association of Victoria and many Councils.


Karen’s achievements include successful:

  • development and delivery of organisation wide tailored training for cyber security in local government
  • development and delivery of change and communications activities for executive leadership teams, to manage cyber risk in State government funded entitities.
