Asset Management for Municipal Infrastructure

Online: Tuesday, September 21, 2021 | Time: 12:00-2:40pm ET / 9:00-11:40am PT

Ensuring Affordable, Reliable, and Sustainable Local Government Services and Infrastructure

Asset management is a top priority across the country, particularly with infrastructure investment being a key driver of post-pandemic recovery. As part of that plan, the Government of Canada is investing millions of dollars in new projects in Ontario, British Columbia, Manitoba, and other provinces through the Municipal Asset Management Program (MAMP), delivered through the Federation of Canadian Municipalities. The program will help municipalities to strengthen local infrastructure planning and decision-making by increasing asset management capacity.

Public Sector Network’s Asset Management for Municipal Infrastructure virtual event will equip attendees with new ideas and strategies to manage all assets effectively and in a way that meets community and regulatory standards. The event will also share best practices in strengthening and building a cross-departmental asset management culture, advances in asset management, and strategies for delivering cost-effective municipal infrastructure systems.
